Agathe likes to dive into emotions and let her imagination go free. Many materials meet, come side by side and sometimes mix up like pieces of life... She is self-taught, and though she studied in the school of Avignon in 2004. Agathe's painting originates in her thirst for life. She says her painting is both "atavistic" and "tripale". It's atavisic because she grew up with creation and tripale because of the intense activity inside her she expresses through painting . She is motivated by painting as a way to conversation and exchange. The message is dense : Her canvases are filled with contrasted and powerful colours in wich both painting and writing mix together . The paintings are outlined with calligraphy, sprinkled with fine touches and inlaid fragments of poetry showing an inexhaustible creativity. From fountains to landscapes, from faces to landscales Sophie doesn't make any choice, she paints it all and above all, She paints ! |
